The Official Echobox Explorer Thread
Okay, that's good to know - thanks. Tidal worked okay for me when I had it. My concern is that I think Spotify may have prohibited apk versions in the past few months. I can't seem to find any other than one that won't install.- Coop47

The Official Echobox Explorer Thread
Hi - I figured I'd give the Explorer a shot at $100, thinking at least I'd be able to stream Spotify over it. However, I've been unable to install a Spotify apk. Can anyone help? This is my first android device, and I'm stuck. Also, the Echobox links to any software upgrades are now dead. Any...- Coop47

Help with Apple USB Camera adapter and Dragonfly
Thanks. It worked previously, so I don't think it's defective. I've read a few places that there have been software updates that cut the power going out the lightning port, so wondering if that's it - that I can't confirm it's happening to anyone else with the latest update. Unfortunately, I...- Coop47

Help with Apple USB Camera adapter and Dragonfly
I've been searching for about an hour with no luck, so apologies is this was covered somewhere else. I'm trying to connect my Dragonfly (both a Black and a Cobalt) to my iPhoneX using an Apple USB Camera adapter, but the audio continues to play through the iPhone's speakers. Other info: - The...- Coop47

Echobox Nomad N1 Reviews/Impressions/Dicussions Thread
Might make sense for you to start a new thread regarding your Finders. I can completely understand how you could find them piercing. Burn in helps, but they're still my least favorite of the three sets.- Coop47

Echobox Nomad N1 Reviews/Impressions/Dicussions Thread
To me, the Nomads sound more realistic. They still retain clarity, separation, and have a great soundstage. The Finders can be a little too revealing and a maybe a little fatiguing because you hear everything. The Finders were the first Echobox earphones I owned and thought they were the best...- Coop47

Echobox Nomad N1 Reviews/Impressions/Dicussions Thread
Not sure I can answer that - I'm a guitar player, so I think crunch means something different to me. The Nomads still have a bite, they just have more body around it than the Finders, IMO. It might help to describe it this way: I like the Travelers for relaxing and enjoying music. I like the...- Coop47

Echobox Nomad N1 Reviews/Impressions/Dicussions Thread
Very pleased with mine. Well worth the extra money over the Traveler and Finder. It combines the best aspects of both - the warmth of the Traveler and the clarity and detail of the Finder. I use the red filters on mine and it makes a huge difference. These are the largest earphones I've ever...- Coop47

Please help me replace my Sleek SA6
Thanks for the info, folks. The Brainwavz sound really interesting and I'm trying to figure out if the B2 is worth the extra money over the M2. ZARIM - I have used the Triple Fi 10's in the past and love them, but they seem over budget, at least from prices I've seen online. Again...- Coop47

Please help me replace my Sleek SA6
Thanks Cali - the info about the tips is particularly helpful. Quote: I love the comfort and sound of the SA6s and the customer service is top notch. I bought an early pair when they were still working out build issues on the earpieces, and they sent me a new and improved set at...- Coop47

Please help me replace my Sleek SA6
Hi all, I was pretty active here years ago, but settled on some gear and decided to get out while I still had some money left. However, I started a new job a few weeks ago that has a 45 minute train commute, so I dug out my Sleek SA6 that I had barely used and attached a cable I had never...- Coop47

Sleek Audio Customer Service -- Regarding SA6 -- FANTASTIC!
Just wanted to echo this. I had the exact same experience where I broke the neck on an older model while gently trying to replace the ear bud. I got an immediate response from Andrew C and with instructions and a new pair within days. I was an early convert to Sleek, and while I've been...- Coop47

15% Off @ SoundEarphones
Thanks Matthew C - I just wanted to make sure it was a Firefox problem and not a website security issue. I'm only getting it when I try to go to the shopping cart - sorry, should've been clearer. 2nd edit - I'm having the same problem in IE: "invalid security certificate".- Coop47

15% Off @ SoundEarphones
I'm trying to place an order, but I'm getting this message (using Firefox): "www.soundearphones.com uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate expired on 2/7/2010 7:59 PM. (Error code: sec_error_expired_certificate)" Is anyone else having this problem?- Coop47

Big Rev to HeadRoom Home Page
I spent a lot of time (and had a lot of fun) on the old site just learning and comparing - it was one of the first sites introducing me to this hobby and it's a constant reference source for me. That said, from a quick look around, I think I might be spending twice as much time on the new site...- Coop47

the best sounding live albums you know
Warren Zevon Stand In The Fire Nothing special in terms of sound quality but if you like classic 70's rock, this stands up to any of the other great albums from that era. Zevon was a force onstage. -
Why has the SA6 completely dropped off everyones radar?
Other than a few weeks when they were moving their office, I've found their customer service to be top notch. (It also looks like they've brought on some new people to help them manage the increased volume as they've grown.) They replaced my set because of the loose chrome housing that...- Coop47
