Yulong D100II not recognized in Windows 7
...no luck either. The error I get in the details page is "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)". UPDATE: ****... I tried plugging it into another computer and it gives me the same error message..... I guess the D100 must have gotten screwed up from...- furjim

Yulong D100II not recognized in Windows 7
My laptop ran out of battery and my computer did a hard shutdown while my Yulong D100-II was connected. Now, Windows 7 is not recognizing the device -- it says "Unknown Device" whenever it is turned on. Any ideas on how to fix this? I tried disabling and re-enabling the USB hubs to no avail. It...- furjim

V moda lp vs lp2
a bump after 2 hours? lol the lp2 is known to be a significant upgrade over the original, but at $200 you have creeped into the Audio Technica Pro700 MK2 territory which is one of the best basshead cans. denon d1100 is another option if you still want clear mids and treble. fischer audio...- furjim

the m4 are not bass-head headphones. i have them and i might have defective version, but it sounds very thin and lifeless to me, compared to all my other headphones. the m2 blows it out of the water.- furjim

REVIEW: Yulong D100 MKII DAC - an update to an already excellent device
Awesome review. Do you think the hint of warmness on the MKII is too much for the HD 650? Doesn't seem like it should be a problem but figured I'd ask. Would it have better synergy with a colder amp?- furjim

The Official Counter Strike GO Thread
It wouldn't be CS if it had iron sights! I think CS:GO looks decent but i just wish they switched up the style more..... it looks the same thing as the original cs with a couple new weapons and updated graphics..... it deserves more than that. The console versions are going to be hilariously bad...- furjim

Denon D2k: experiencing static / loss of sound in right earphone
On the RadioShack website, none of the stereo jacks they sell say "TRS" - should I look elsewhere? Or will this standard one do the trick? Thanks for the advice so far.- furjim

Denon D2k: experiencing static / loss of sound in right earphone
Thanks for the input. Can you reference me to where I can learn how to do that? Also, there are surely companies that can do this for me... I have no experience with this and would rather not risk ruining them. Any recommendations?- furjim

Denon D2k: experiencing static / loss of sound in right earphone
When I plug my headphones into my computer, NuForce portable DAC, or MP3 player, I have to jiggle the plug in order to get the sound to come through both earphones properly. Even when it is in the jack with a good seal, there are bursts of very light static and loss of sound in the right ear...- furjim

Any good high capacity mp3 players coming out soon?
I'm looking for a portable music device with 160GB+ storage (compatibility with large SD card could be an option), good battery life, great sound, can play FLAC/OGG files. I won't be using it much for web browsing / watching videos, but it would be a bonus. The 2 best options I have found...- furjim

Check out the ones over at MP4nation.net - I have the Brainwavz M2 and they are great all-around, and I hear the M3 is even better. They also have the SoundMagic PL-50 but I haven't heard much about that one. You should definitely check out this thread...- furjim

Looking for a good pair of portable headphones. Any help?
I just started looking into portable headphones too, but one thing everyone will tell you is headphones with "Noise Canceling" features usually have lower sound quality, and that with good enough isolation you don't need the Noise Canceling technology anyway. This should open up a lot more...- furjim

Need headphones to listen to music on my iMac (Beats/DT770/DT880 etc..)
Definitely don't get the beats, everybody here will tell you that. The M50's seem to be a popular choice if you're on a $100 budget but if you are willing to spend more you can definitely get a better headphone. I'm thinking about getting the DT880 myself, I'm just worried about how much...- furjim
