1964 Ears Adel IEMs
Hi Guys, Planning to back this project, but wanted to see what others had to say...read this forum but still a little skeptical. I'm planning to go for custom A10 but I have never backed a project for more than $20 on Kickstarter before...Lol. So is it worth it?- droilfade

Do you have tinnitus?
I have tinnitus in both my ears....about two years now. I used to have it intermittently before that but it's been constant ever since. GOt my hearing tested and it was good. In fact, the doc said I hear better than most people (Dont' remember how he based this statistic). He told me it's...- droilfade

1) It came preloaded with 2.1 when I bought it. 2) It's a laptop and I tried all ports. 3) Yes I did.- droilfade

I'm running a Win7 64 bit and the X3 (FW 2.1) does not even get recognized. The settings on the player are set to DAC. What am I doing wrong?- droilfade

FiiO X3 Review
I did bite the bullet and bought an X3 and I'm glad I did. It is a nice DAC and a better player than classic, imho. Although I have a E7 it is dying on me so the X3 would be a good replacement. I agree with your review about UI and is really cumbersome to navigate. What I absolutely don't like...- droilfade

The Fiio X3 Thread.
Well...after a bit of use I concur on most of the points mentioned on this thread. The interface sucks...lol. I have to look online for most of the things I need to do e.g.creating playlists. Nothing much you can do in terms of EQ as far as I have seen, just bass and treble. Definitely needs...- droilfade

The Fiio X3 Thread.
This is the thread I referred to : http://www.head-fi.org/t/532426/ipod-classic-rockbox-its-happening Space is a consideration of course but I am not going to be using 160 GB at one go. Either ways, I couldn`t wait and bought myself an X3 :D Haven`t spent too much time on it but my initial...- droilfade

The Fiio X3 Thread.
I'm torn between buying a ipod classic 7th gen vs an X3. I can rockbox the 7th gen which will allow me to play almost all formats. My question is if the sound quality of an x3 is better than a classic?- droilfade

FiiO X3 Review
Hi, I hope someone can solve my conundrum. All these days I have been using a sansa clip+, but I passed it on to my brother and I'm looking for a new Audio player. I'm torn between buying a ipod classic (160 GB 7th gen) and an X3. I can rockbox the 7th gen to play FLAC and almost all other...- droilfade

They look like on ear. I don't mind trying these...What I want to know is how comfortable are these? Are they good for long listening, walking sessions? Also..how about microphonics?- droilfade

Quote: Yeah! These have the same drivers, so I'm expecting similar kind of sound signature. I wanted a portable on ear set badly for my daily commute. I'm hoping these are mid-centric balanced headphone without being overtly bassy! Lol...looks like I just defined a perfect headphone and...- droilfade

Shootout: 114 Portable Headphones Reviewed (Xiaomi Mi Headphones added 04/21/2015)
Thanks guys! I got a bit adventurous and pre-ordered this Philips . Looks like they use the same driver as the 'Downtown' and 'Uptown' and I've heard only good things about them. The form factor looks like something I was looking for and is in the lower end of my budget! Hopefully this turns out...- droilfade

Shootout: 114 Portable Headphones Reviewed (Xiaomi Mi Headphones added 04/21/2015)
Great thread! Just what I needed but I'm still not able to decide. I'm looking for a portable headphone in $50-$100 (lower the better) range with a neutral sound signature. I was going to get the Senn HD238s but read a lot of negative reviews and being open air doesn't really help my...- droilfade

The PANASONIC RP-HTF600-S headphones. More fun than the HD650?
Quote: Lol...I was going for a subtle review with the write-up. I could hear the car honk from a distance (Isolation not great), vocalist in the middle of the road (wide soundstage), sweaty ears (explains itself). Heh....but yeah one of the best walk of my life! Thanks Dsnuts. I'm eagerly...- droilfade
