How many of you actullay believe IE8 burn in effect?

i have to agree with seedhouse. although i seem to notice differences in headphones after "burn-in", this is not an objective test for anything. saying things are "widely accepted facts" is not a solid argument without proof that these facts are substantiated. hearsay is not really proof of...

    Denon D2000 vs. ATH-ESW9

what's the deal with d2000 reviews? there are those that say it's very accurate and lively (headphone.com comes to mind), and then there are reviews such as this that say it's slow and uninspired. i've been searching for the past few days for reviews and it seems most people's opinion of these...

    Is JBL dumb?

this is pretty common practice when they can't fix your product and it's discontinued/none in stock at the warehouse where it's being repaired. i don't see how this is a bad thing considering they did eventually answer your question (although i'm not sure how many questions you could have other...

x-fi or money towards a dac

second for the omega claro+ unless the internals of your computer sound like a jet. honestly I've heard people say that an internal sound card picks up a lot of computer noise, but I have yet to notice any in all of my internal solutions (onboard, SB Live, maudio, x-fi, claro+).

For those who want the awesome SRC resampling fb2k plugin to be updated for 0.1.3

I'm not taking it for granted. I appreciate any type of work. But to literally demand respect (especially in the form of "donations") is childish and petty. If i was using his plug-in I would have donated if it was good work (like I have with a few other free programs), but DEMANDING respect is...

For those who want the awesome SRC resampling fb2k plugin to be updated for 0.1.3

that seems pretty petty if you ask me. it seems like he made this plug-in to try to trick people into "donating" him money, which he thought would end up being more than what he'd get for selling it. what an ass. if he is so highly paid what does he care of a mere 150$?

    Audiophile Speaker Setup for Computer

I have a pair of A5's, and while they do deliver "good enough" bass for those on a budget, i find the bass lacking when it comes to the bottom end. when you start to hit those lower frequencies that are tight/quick I find the A5's bass begins to "rubber out" if you will and sound slightly...

    Asus Xonar D2X PCI Express

i think that card is a waste of money honestly. this isn't to say it sounds bad, the cmedia chip sounds great, but honestly theres no difference between the between it and the pci version. if you can you should just return it for the pci version and save a few bucks, or maybe replace it with a...

    audioengine s8 sub reviews?

i looked at the dayton hsu8, but it seems its not in stock for two months I'm sure the Velodyne VX-10 sounds great, but it would just stick out like a sore thumb (because of the color) in my room and I can't really hide it with the way I've set up my speakers/computer. any other recommendations?
