I have a new MacBook Pro that I just purchased to replace my 1st generation MBP. As soon as I started using it with my SE310s, I noticed a lot of noise from the built-in audio out. There's a constant hiss in the background, with the occasional beeping noise. This seems to be a known issue on the latest revisions of the MBP (sadly). See below:

Macintouch report

Note, this is not the problem reported on the original generation from the internal power system, this problem only exists on the audio out from the computer.

What I'm wondering is if anyone has any suggestions for an inexpensive solution to this problem. I was thinking possibly an inline volume attenuator (such as the Shure EA650) or a USB audio output device (Griffin iMic). Because this is a portable system, I really don't want to be carrying around anything more than is necessary, and I don't want to spend a ton of money on this either. That said, the noise problems are really getting on my nerves!
