I`ve been listening to my SR-80 a lot with my D2 Boa and Zune recently, with comfy pads they sound beautiful. They compliment each other really well.

I believe people have had some success with the SR-225 and g-cush pads, but only if you use "distancers/liberators" in combination with them (see Alessandro MS1000/MS-Ultimate).

Only my Grado SR-80 have a name - "The Bumblebees", after the HD414 pad modication I use on them. I also nicknamed my Valab NOS DAC "The little silver box" because my gf never remembers what "DAC" means.
