Im about to pull the plug on a tube amp for susvara, to get a different sound than my moon 430ha. I’m going for cayin ha300b instead of envy which is double the price, change my mind.. Go- Roybenz

...2022 and meze empyrean and meze elite (Wich doesn’t require much to drive it to the fullest) using T+A ha200 (this amp sound very similar to my 430ha) and with the moon 680D streamer dac. The meze sounds warmer and has fantastic over all bass compared to susvara, susvara sound like it goes...- Roybenz

@Torq gwfe you thorough detailed explansations to these posts over on the hp.commmss forums already. If you are happy with the Moon then enjoy it, many members have said there are newer amps/tech with better synergy for the Susvara that bring more out of them. Numbers are fun but listening to...- OneEyedHito

forget the numbers, I used to have the 430 years ago...it was ok at the time and while it has ample power, despite never having heard the bliss I would bet good money it is a far better amp....2 amps can both have similar "numbers" and one be dramatically better...listen dont read- jlbrach

Even the zahl wich is supposed to be king with the susvaras, have much lower Numbers than 430ha and Bliss.- Roybenz

The ahb2/wa22 pairing is a very very powerful, neutral, linear amp with a tc tube amp with upgraded tubes to add some depth and weight to the notes, is my experience. Is the moon amp those three things? If so then I’d imagine the synergy would be great.- OneEyedHito

@essentiale My experience with moon 430ha. I think it’s a very big sounding amp, listen mostly between 58-60 (of 80max) with 4pin xlr. It’s very Etheral and gives a great stage with lots of air and it’s slightly neutral-warm. It has good rumble down low, at the same time it sounds clean and big...- Roybenz

My 2 cents: The 430ha(d) definitely has enough power Some people are very happy with this amp and would/do highly enjoy the susvaras with it and others may find this amp does not suit them (eg find it too relaxed) IMHO must be demoed to see how you personally find it. Not a one size fits all- thecrow

You need the same amp as this system. Sorry. Check the description of the video. Your 430H is more than enough. Since the Zahl HM1 has been accepted as the reference point of power(2W)- OCC7N

I haven’t tried the 430HA but it’s mentioned several times in this thread. Give it a quick search for 430HA “in this thread” and should give you a quick read!! https://www.head-fi.org/search/12136879/?q=430HA&t=post&c%5Bthread%5D=853031&o=date- OneEyedHito

Is the 430HA sufficient to power the susvara on its own? I’m keen to get the susvara but my current set up is just a Yggdrasil and 430HA as the amp- essentiale

The HE1Kse is a fairly easy headphone to drive. Just checked out the specs on the Moon Neo 430HA, 8W at 50ohms would power the Susvara beautifully. If you have the funds, I'd go Susvara all day. It's more detailed than the HE1Kse without the treble glair.- rreynolds
