VSONIC GR07 Impressions Thread
Unfortunately after only 1.5 years my right earbud has gone dead. Sad cause I really liked my GR07's and I babied them. I've contacted VSONIC about two weeks ago and again several days ago but no reply. Anyone have any luck with getting VSONIC to reply about replacing my broken GR07? Build...- vanger

Denon D7000 Eq settings
i use it with an apogee duet and the treble is juss a bit too piercing so i took away a little bit of the high end.- vanger

Is buy.com shipping the D2000 for $197?
i wouldn't bother either. i waited 30 days before my order was cancelled by amazon for taking too long.- vanger

The D7000 IS an improvement from the D5000
Compared to stock D2000's, I think the biggest difference with the D7000's is the much clearer and more forward mid range. There's also more bass impact and control on the D7000's but I don't think there's as much bass extension on the D7000 (noticed this on only really low notes). Overall...- vanger

Denon D7000 in stock @ J&R
i pre-ordered mine a day before they were listed as back in stock. they shipped soon after they were back in stock and i received them in the mail about 3 days ago on Monday (roughly a week for them to be delivered). haven't gotten a chance to go pick them up though since my billing address...- vanger

Are the silver pieces of Denon AH-D2000 of plastic or metal?
they are made of magnesium. it's a metal and it's very lightweight.- vanger

~<$400 Upgrade
the D2000's do well with electronic. if you're going the denon route, instead of getting the D5000 i'd save the money and just get the D2000. you can use the extra money you saved to modify it (wood cups, new cable, etc) which is the only difference between the D2000 and D5000 anyways. also...- vanger

nice. i pre-ordered these yesterday not thinking i'd get them until at least 2 weeks. it's been a day and they're back in stock been wanting to compare these to my D2000's and see exactly how much better these "bigger drivers/stronger magnets" would be.- vanger

another "what 200-250 price range cans should i get" thread
The D2000's will go well with electronic/hip-hop. Not sure how well they do with rock though. $196 for the Denon's is a really good deal too since I got mine for $220 used. I still don't regret buying it used for a little bit more because it was still practically new- vanger

Good headphones for a dorm room situation (AH-D2000?)
i use my D2000's for my dorm room and they work great. to be honest, i think my listening volume is higher than average since i can't really hear much outside noise when playing music and my room mates can definitely hear the leakage. i still hear sirens and door alarms, but normal talking is at...- vanger
