Denon D7000 Eq settings

I am rolling 'as is' for now. I might try a little EQ much later down the line just to experiement and see what happens but just enjoying the no fuss, no muss factor for now. Nothing is sticking out to me that needs adjusting.

I never ever EQ my cans, even if I have a phase linear EQ at hand. And EQ'ing such a fine can as the D7000 is almost blasphemy.

Same here - never EQ my headphones.
My motto is "if they don't sound good flat, send 'em back".

If I wanted more mids and less Bass, I would just buy a pair of ATH-AD2000s.

No need to monkey with EQ setting for the D7000s, they sound fine just the way they are IMO.
Without EQ, they sound good with every genre I have thrown at them so far, and they even do well with poor recordings.

Well in with 2 channels they sound perfect. However I also listen to them with virtual 7.1 so vocals sound a bit more in the distance. Also the bass is more intense with virtual 7.1.
