FLC Technology FLC8 and FLC8s Impressions Thread
Yeah, I am using the Spiral Dots at the moment, but was looking for a tad more isolation. Tough to say what happened. I just noticed they sounded a bit out of balance and noticed one of the plugs had disappeared.- scamper

FLC Technology FLC8 and FLC8s Impressions Thread
Hi All, Been using these guys for a month or so and love them so far. Has anyone else had trouble with the ULF plug falling out? One of my red plugs appears to have fallen out. Good luck finding that thing. Also, are there any dual flange tips that work really well with these guys...- scamper

Thanks for the tips. I tried everything except for rebooting with the df installed. Still no dice, so it probably goes back.- scamper

New Dragonfly Black and Red Discussion
Just purchased a dfr and it is amazing with my pc and ie80s. But, with my Nexus 6p, I cannot select USB audio with two different Benson approved C otg cables. The light never comes on. And it shipped without the cap. Is there a comparible DAC amp that actually works with Android. I have...- scamper

SoundMAGIC HP100/HP150 Review and Impressions Thread
SoundMAGIC has stated that there are three different versions of the same headphone? For the record, mine was purchased from Amazon and isn't lacking in bass. It isn't a DT770. But certainly not lacking.- scamper

I they sure don't seem like bass monsters to me. Funny how we all like them, but hear them in different ways. Its amazing how much audio processing goes on between the ears!- scamper

Should be comparable. I've damaged my ears enough with 80's punk moshpits that 320 sounds like gold to me. :P- scamper

Do you listen to Doom at all? If you can find access to it, listen to Bong's "Mana-Yood-Sushai". This had a great level of bass presence for me. I'd be interested to hear what you hear. Might pin down a potential QC issue. Yeah, you gotta keep an eye on the hype-train on any enthusiast type...- scamper

I always wonder that when I hear total different reports of sonic characteristics of different headphones. Since this is their first big can, I've made sure to test mine on a large variety of music. Sounds like you getting along with them well anyway.- scamper

SoundMAGIC HP100/HP150 Review and Impressions Thread
Yeah, even out of my laptop sound card, I still hear pretty tight and impressive bass on the HP100. Generally, for me, if there is bass in the song, there is bass in these cans. Its not 2LiveCrew/booty bass. But, it is there and present. Everyone's ears are different for sure. In my...- scamper

They are different beasts to be sure. In fact, I think they work well as a pair. One for when you want your ass handed to you and one for when you need to relax and enjoy while still having fun. The SM are more comfortable (obviously), more spacious in the headspace, and easier to drive from...- scamper

Just received a pair of these from Amazon and am floored with them. Straight out of the box, if a song has bass it has bass in the cans. Love em so far across genres. (metal, experimental, idm, jazz, country) (directly out of a cheap laptop soundcard at the moment). I suppose once my ears...- scamper
