Audeze - Our Maxwell Gaming Headsets! (latest: Firmware v56 and HQ v97)

I've been using the defean pads for months and they're great for me. I got the cooling gel version with silky fabric option. They are a bit thicker than stock, but compress easily. I didn't have to adjust my headband from the medium setting. The cooling effect doesn't last long, but these don't...

iFi Audio Asks... What (Product) Should We Make Next?

Go Blu successor, but with the following: Support latest BT LE, low latency codecs, and include a USB dongle (PS5, PC). Needs to be dual mode to support connection of BT and USB dongle at the same time. 3.5mm TRRS headset support The idea is to be able to connect a 3.5mm wired headset to it...

Audeze - Our Maxwell Gaming Headsets! (latest: Firmware v56 and HQ v97)

I generally don't notice it much when playing since there's game or chat sounds also going. It's been a year now and I wouldn't expect it to be fixed. I don't think continuously exchanging pairs is the answer. If Audeze told you the noise is normal then I'm not sure what you're expecting.

Mad Lust Envy's Headphone Gaming Guide: (8/18/2022: iFi GO Blu Review Added)

Same, I've had my Modmic Wireless for 3.5 years and still use it periodically. Though since getting Maxwell in February I've only used it a few times. I think I posted some pics a few pages ago with the Modmic Wireless attached to a Koss setup. Basically KSC75 drivers with grado style pads on...

Awww man, that is terrible. Thieves are rampant this time of year. Hopefully you can get some resolution and not be out of pocket for the theft.

I wanted to wait a few weeks before posting this to give my impressions. I never do like posting about a product until it's been put through some use. I've been using the Corsair Xeneon 27" OLED monitor. Three weeks on it now, and I sit in front of it for 40+ hours a week. The text fringing...

Audeze - Our Maxwell Gaming Headsets! (latest: Firmware v56 and HQ v97)

I've had zero dropouts or clicking noises in mine and I've been using them on PS5 since late February

I bought the DeepCool AK620 because it's what Micro Center had when I picked up the rest of the parts for my build. It was relatively cheap but the fans had a noticeable & annoying pitch to them, even though they were technically quiet in regard to dB. I replaced the DeepCool fans with Noctua...

LOL now Valve is releasing an OLED version of the Steam Deck. Dang, I should have waited. Supposedly 90Hz, larger battery, Wi-Fi 6E

LOL that did not look effortless at all to bend that screen. As someone who uses adjustable/extendable monitor arms, I think it would be tricky to flex the monitor in either direction without also pulling or retracting the arm it's attached to. The reviewer seemed like he was exerting some...

Audeze - Our Maxwell Gaming Headsets! (latest: Firmware v56 and HQ v97)

Yep, I've had them for a little over a week. Solid upgrade for me compared to stock. I got the cooling gel version with silky fabric option. They are a bit thicker than stock, but compress easily. I didn't have to adjust my headband from the medium setting. The cooling effect doesn't last...

Thanks. After viewing multiple vids of the current 27" OLEDs, they're just not bright enough. I mean I don't want anything eye-searing, but I do at least want HDR to look decent. It's too dark in HDR content on the reviews I've seen. Shame. I also just read that Alienware is releasing a...

I mean the non-standard OLED subpixel layout that causes text fringing in Windows, low brightness, aggressive ABL. I think the two choices for me right now are LG and Corsair. Both use the same LG panel. Asus also has a model but it uses HDMI 2.0 so it's not an option for me. I'm strictly...
