IC: Minneapolis / Twin Cities meet
A meet would be great - but not at all sure if I could attend. If yesterday's job interview went as well as I hope it did, I could have a new job (out of state) by then... If able to attend, I don't have a lot, but could bring: Grado SR-225, Senn HD-25-1, Ety ER-4P (and P --> S cable), PINT amp -
itunes help- migrated my library, now there's trouble.
Probably want to consult this article - depending on how you did the migration, it may help explain your problem. Transferring your iTunes Library | iLounge Article No guarantee on how to fix it easily however.- Phil Ramsay

Itunes quick question
It depends a little on your situation, and it can be a tad confusing - but here's a good reference: Transferring your iTunes Library | iLounge Article While it seems like a lot of stuff to read and understand, I think you'll be better off with a guide that really explains it well, and...- Phil Ramsay

Favourite Flaming Lips Album
I'm a huge Flaming Lips fan - so hard to choose. I go with Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots as first, The Soft Bulletin as second - but to me it's practically a tie. All the others are good in their own way but these two are great from beginning to end.- Phil Ramsay

Has anybody contested apple refusing to honor their waranty?
I had an iPod 80 gb Classic that started sounding awful (bad distortion) probably from some sort of internal circuit failure - about 3/4 of the way through its warranty. I contacted Apple via internet and tried a couple things at their request first (reset, reformat, etc.). It was still...- Phil Ramsay

The Bands/Group/Artist that has influenced you the most?
I'm nearly 50 - but my musical tastes probably don't match that demographic at all well (or maybe any demographic). As a kid growing up, it was rock and some jazz - Beatles, Dylan, Bruebeck from my mom and dad. I still like all that well enough, but it does not define me by any stretch...- Phil Ramsay

Girl Talk
I've been really enjoying this CD and thought about starting a thread - did a search, and found this thread. A couple titbits worth adding I think: 1. The CD is out now for those that are interested in that instead of the name your own price MP3's or FLAC downloads. Go to the link in the...- Phil Ramsay

Who can tell me how you make the lines like this in myself?
That does look nice... but probably not that hard to do yourself, if you like handwork. Neutrik 3.5 MM Right Angle 3 pole plug (NTP3RC-B) Looks like a 4 wire Litz braid for the main section (thicker) cable section). Chimera Labs Do it yourself - braiding Audio Cable and then...- Phil Ramsay
