Hey all. I recently bought a new external HDD to store my library. I had been using another disk before, but this one is bigger and I don't want two disks hooked up to my computer at all times. I consolidated my library with the menu option and dragged the sucker over to the new disk, then changed the "iTunes library location" setting in Preferences to reflect the new location. However, now there are seemingly random tracks that appear missing, but the computer can find if I show them where in the library to look. (IE the files are there but iTunes seems insistent they are missing) Is there anything I can do to keep my meticulously-created playlists with my new drive, or should I keep the new one as a backup and use the old one?
Oh, and I thought I might add I'm on OS-X 10.5.
