so where would you get a 120ohm adapter from - one that fits onto the plug on the headphone cord?

hello after reading through numerous posts referencing the 120ohm adapter for low impedance beyers, i still don't know exactly what form this thing takes. is it a special jack you plug the headphones into? is it an adapter you place over the headphone plug before plugging them into the hadphone...

hello there's alot of talk about the MDR-SA1/5k right now. there's virtually no talk of the SA3k. the SA3k is at a price point where it's directly competing with the senn hd580 in the us. so i'm sure someone out ther must have purchased these headphones by now. please give us your impressions...

i'd be running shure e3 (16ohms @ ~115spl/mw) and sony d66 eggos (40ohms @ ~100 spl/mw) and might be venturing into the world of ultrasone hfi-650 trackmaster (74ohms @ ~100spl/mw) or beyer dt-660 (32ohms @ ~100spl/mw). i'm looking for a gain setting that'll be a good all around setting for this...
