Wow... I just noticed that it has been one month since I posted my design for the inner lid... and now it is an actual product! During those posts people were very inpatient with the design process and just wanted us to stop designing so that the Compass could be built. Now.. just one month...

For those who are interested, I have verified that on Windows 2000, XP and Vista, the act of turning on your Compass connected by USB, automatically makes it your default audio device in Windows Media Player. I am not certain if you can set Foobar or MediaMonkey to switch automatically... Output...

Dat Dude, When i have used USB DACs in the past, upon plugging them in to the USB port and turning them on, the operating system usually finds them and makes them your default sound device. When you unplug, it usually switches back to your sound card. So just the act of turning on the Compass...
