IMR Audio : Sonic Adventures & Impressions

19 x B stock Dawns on their eBay. £80 at the moment. I know there's talk of them just being a cheap rebranding, but are they still worth it if you already have OZAR (at that price)? Edit : According to Brandon from IMR the Dawn "outperforms OZAR and is superior in overall sound". Anyone able...

    Simgot IEM discussion thread.

Yeah, i have to agree here. I've heard most reviewers who have compared the ea500LM and EA1000 conclude that the LM might be the 'better value of the two'. Some replies seem to have taken that as 'better sounding'. As you say, Simgot aren't going to keep it at 70 dollars if it was an upgrade to...

    Simgot IEM discussion thread.

That Jays Audio guy who has heard them seems to suggest the ea1000 is still the more refined sounding of the two. I'm gonna guess from a value perspective the ea500lm will be very good (depending on price), but if the ea1000 still improves on it sound wise, I don't mind spending extra. I'm...

    Simgot ea1000

Ps... I'm a bit time limited for buying in time for Xmas delivery and haven't had a reply on the Simgot thread, so hoping I'll get more eyes on this one 😉

    Simgot ea1000

Hi all, anyone able to chime in on how male vocals sound with this set? I've read some say they're a bit hidden due to a lack of lower mids body, but I'm wondering to what extent? I'm aware it's a brighter set so that's not an issue, it's just some of my favourite male vocalists are part of...

So I'm on the fence with the ea1000. I'm just trying to find out bit more about male lead vocals in rock music... do they take a backseat due to the tuning of lower mids... and if so, how much? Anyone able to compare to fiio fd5?

IMR Audio : Sonic Adventures & Impressions

Its horrible to say, but I'm surprised someone hasn't taken legal action. Failing to provide goods under a reasonable timeframe and providing misleading information to multiple buyers could be considered fraud. You could call it cybercrime too. There's a lot of defence for IMR for the products...

Also, the cable on the Dawn looks quite cheap... any issues with microphonics?

IMR Audio : Sonic Adventures & Impressions

I guess the issue of a budget chi-fi IEM (which it technically would fall under) is your typical QC issues, over a more premium product. That's not to say premium IEMs don't break tho or that past IMR products don't break either... my EDP broke within an hour 🫣 lol. Anyone have QC issues with...

IMR Audio : Sonic Adventures & Impressions

Any of you experienced the Simgot ea1000 which has been getting a lot of buzz now for a wee bit?

Thanks. So what's your thoughts on them both if you were to compare them? Obviously the OZAR started out a £400 earphone. Not that price always tells the full story! I'm looking for something on par technically... Not a downgrade. Edit: and as I mentioned, I'm after something different in sound...

    Simgot IEM discussion thread.

My favourite IEM is the IMR OZAR... it's got a rich, musical sound, great low end detail. Easily the best bass of any IEM I've ever had. It's been a while tho since I've had a new toy... So looking at the ea1000 as a set that offers a different type of listen. The OZAR has a slightly thicker...

IMR Audio : Sonic Adventures & Impressions

I don't think you can call people "whiny" for being messed around having spent hundreds of pounds. IMR is a business at the end of the day. I had a look thru the old, "Trinity Audio" thread and that thread ended the exact same way this one seems to be heading. Bob got a pass from some loyal...

Chinese / Asian Brand Info Thread (On or Over Ear Headphones)

Amps, DACs, daps... 100% matter. Yeah, getting volume into certain sets is important, but different setups have their own unique flavour. It's why you can hear changes when swapping from source to source. Sometimes subtle, sometimes big. The right combo can make all the difference to the listener.

That's quite the journey over 3 posts. Can I ask why you'd want to purchase the Dawn having just shared your opinion that its, "quite sad" that you've had no transparency on the £1500 product you're waiting for?
