I greatly prefer the HD600 over the HD650. What about you?
600 sounds more sweet and brighter but 650 has few more octaves of bass and cleaner sound. I was driving myself nuts deciding which was better for nearly 6 months until 650 came out ahead by a hair. Now madness starts all over with 5000, 650 and RS1, there can be only one.- gort

Did John change the production methods for later HF-1s? My 266 doesn't show any plastic blemishes like early model pictures.- gort

Average computer newbie here (well a mac), but doesn't PC systems resend packets when it is lost or corrupted during transmission while there isn't any retransmission for audio equipment? -

Surprise! HF-1 (Head-Fi 1)!!!
Does Todd send out emails with fedex tracking numbers on it after it is shipped? Because I live in a closed apartment building, fedex guy can't leave me a note to make myself available the next day.- gort

It was redbook. Was the denon at the right or left in front of the fireplace? Stax from the right side was the best electrostatic setup at the meet.- gort
