Samsung Galaxy Note 3 (24-bit/192KHz)
My Note 3 (SM-N9005) stock out-of-the-box works perfectly with both the Musical Fidelity X-DAC and HeadRoom Total BitHead via microUSB if that helps.- gordonshowers

Has anyone here owned either the k701 and the pro900 for a period?
I've never heard the K701s, but the 900s have a pronounced bass response whereas some find the K701s have a low bass response. So that's one major difference straight away.- gordonshowers

HD 650 Amp
Well, if you wanted to get the v-dac i'd highly recommend you try it with your existing airhead before getting a new amp. No harm in trying.- gordonshowers

Transportable
Hey Kernmac, i'd have thought your Pro 900s would fit the requirements perfectly? And they fold up fairly small.- gordonshowers

Ultrasone Pro 900 Owners, your opinion?
I've owned these headphones for a couple of days now. I had HD600s but wanted some bass. The HD600s have almost none. I like the Pro 900s a lot, to the point that I don't think I'll be wearing the HD600s again. With the HD600s I was spending time listening to the detail in the sound...- gordonshowers

Ultrasone Pro 900 sound leakage
Once again, thank you all for your help. I'm gonna go for them! I know they're not a complete upgrade over the HD600s. But they sound like they'll be a good complement when my wife's asleep, and I can always use the HD600s when I'm lazing in bed and she doesn't mind a bit of noise...- gordonshowers

Ultrasone Pro 900 sound leakage
Thanks very much for all your replies. With the reduced volume I can get away with they sound like they'll be perfect. I dearly love my Senns (especially female vocals and acoustic instruments), but there are many times I wish there was more bass. Electric guitar lacks a little life, and...- gordonshowers
