It's a funny thing: here I haven't found anyone who likes them both yet, but these two headphones seem to have THE SAME STRONG POINTS:
female vocals, detail, stage... What?

I've never heard the K701s, but the 900s have a pronounced bass response whereas some find the K701s have a low bass response. So that's one major difference straight away.
