Good cd player for under $500
I am very happy with my NAD C515BEE. It has all of the warmth that was missing for the more expensive Onkyo I had previously.- drewjp

Grado PS500 are better than the Beyer T1's
Interesting.....I still haven't heard the T1s personally, but from all of the impressions, I thought they'd be my holy grail as well.....now there's another contender in the ring.... Thanks for posting your thoughts!- drewjp

My mini-review of the Onkyo C-S5VL SACD Player
I find your listening results intriguing. I owned the Onkyo for a brief period, but I found that although it was very detailed, the sound was too cold and analytical for me. I ended up selling it and getting a NAD CDP and enjoy its more analog (very Rega-like) sound.- drewjp

Convert ICs to Headphone Cables?
Hey! I also listen to HD650s through a PS GCHA! I love the combo! I've heard of people repurposing microphone cables (4-conductor) as headphone cables, but I haven't heard about interconnects. But since you brought it up, I'm interested in seeing the responses from people who have maybe... -
