You can delete it.   But I tend to keep the previous firmware until the next one is released and installed (and checked it all works) just in case I need to perform another reset with the old one.

      Are you after this:   Wifi > Advanced settings and turn off "Wifi optimization" (as per the above post)?

I don't think you'll get Tidal to use the SD card until FiiO update to Android 5. It's a known issue for Android 4.x, with some apps able to access the external storage (like Spotify) and others unable to.
