I'm looking to use my set on my PS4 with the vmoda boom mic. I've looked at some 2.5 to 3.5 trss adapters for the mic but the consensus is pretty mixed. Has anyone personally tried one with working mic input?

Searched the thread but didn't see it mentioned...   Is there any type of replacement pad that goes over the ear but also provides similar isolation?

I have them. Comfortable but as you can see in the pic, (and mentioned by kvtaco17) they're starting to flake a bit.     Also, does anyone have an extra headband assembly? I can't find mine.

  I like them. They kind of mellow out the "in your face" sound a bit. Maybe slightly "warmer" would be a better description. I would be willing to purchase an extra set and ship them to you if you cover the purchase price+shipping. If it's worth it after whatever shipping costs to you then...

Haven't seen much posted about the EarZonk replacement pads. I've always been hesitant about getting the Grado G pads because of what I consider a ridiculous price for some foam. I bought the EarZonk G pads for $15 from Amazon. Coming from the Grado L pads, these are so much more comfortable.  

A stripped piece of wire should be plenty for practice. Look up a couple videos on YouTube and you should be good to go.

+1000 Internets if you make it detachable to hold some loose tea.

I meant the padding gets bunched up. Eh, maybe I'll just go back to the original band and throw one of those beyer pads on to hide the wire since I don't need these to fold up anymore.

Anyone have any good suggestions for me? Want to hide the cabling from each cup but can't think of any good ideas. I tried running it through the headband but it's almost impossible without cutting it open and I don't want to do that.

Thought I'd just ask here instead of making a new thread. Can anyone compare the k550 to the beyerdynamic custom one pro? I generally listen to my grados so I want as close to open sounding between the two. The grados leak too much for me to use at work.
