Pipe Laptop Microphone audio into Headphones
Hello Everyone- It's been awhile, and I have a strange request. I listen to music all day at work on my laptop. Pandora, MP3's etc. I have headphones on and take them out and put them in all day as people talk to me. Long conversations necessitate taking them off, I'm trying to keep from...- 1badmf

KLH speakers...any good?
The KLH's that I have are from about the same period [2000s]. I have them paired with a Sony receiver and a Definitive Technology sub. They sound great to me. They can't beat much, but they don't sound terrible. For free, there isn't anything better than that. Especially since my sub is worth... -
What to put under speakers?
The fact that it was Polyurethane threw me off for a bit. But I ordered this: 4x4in sheet That I should be able to cut and put under the 4 corners. Thanks for the advice. EDIT: I got my shipping confirmation and shipping was $4.75, they fail to list that when you buy it. I hate buying...- 1badmf

Margot and the Nuclear So and So's will make your world a better place.
I just picked up their cd, "The Dust of Retreat', it's amazing. Exactly what I was looking for in some new music. I probably love 'Skeleton Key' the best. Just thought I'd search on here to see if anyone else liked them. -
FLAC Ripper?
This has been discussed quite a few times. But EAC and FLAC is the best way to do it. Oh and it's free. Here's a guide: http://wiki.hydrogenaudio.org/index....e=EAC_and_Flac- 1badmf

What to put under speakers?
I have the same question. I moved to a second story apartment in an old building. I have a def tech sub that I love using but I'd hate to annoy the neighbors. I've heard of using hockey pucks, or vibra pods, or marbles, but I haven't tried any of them yet. -
can binaural recordings be used as "reference" ?
I'm new to the world of Binaural Recordings, and so far I love them. But looking at what I know so far. I'd say no, you can't use them as great reference for rating the headphones. It's almost not fair. I like to use a track that I know inside and out so I can do a fair A/B test. That way I can... -
Anyone have the Blackberry 8800?
He's not talking about actually using 2 hand to operate the scrollwheel he means that needing 2 hands to easily support and use the phone is not ideal for him, which I agree. The 7290 is great because even though it's wide with the keyboard, it's easy to use with one hand supporting just the...- 1badmf

coffee online
Take this from a non-coffee drinker. I live and work with coffee LOVERS. I love being IN coffee shops, but I typically will only drink iced coffee etc. But quite a few of my friends and family love BocaJava. This link has Buy 2 Get 2 Free, so for around $12 you can try 4 bags of their coffee...- 1badmf
