Yuin PK3 Impressions Thread
I've had mine for a long time and haven't had a problem... this week almost daily use. I did splice a iphone cord onto it to get the iphone control. I've had not problem with the cord either but I hate the iphone cord because it tangles easily. I love these buds. I am about to splice another...- rotorwash

Anyone know where I can find the Yuin donut foam
I have 2 pair of PK3s that I modified to use the iphone cable... anyway I need more of the foam donuts supplied with the earbuds. Anyone know where I can find some? I bought some foam earbud pads and tried to cut a hole but It isn't the same. BTW.. my PK3s are going on 2.5 years of almost daily...- rotorwash

I felt the same, but after a little burn-in, although I still use the donuts, I feel the bass is less intrusive. The treble is still recessed a bit with the foams on but the foams keep them in place while traveling, which is why I bought these. *edit* Also I should say that I hacked them...- rotorwash

Yuin PK2s - Am I missing something?
I haven't heard the PK2s but I am very impressed with the Pk3s. My set is still burning in but these are the best earbuds I've ever heard for portable use. Every one that asks, "what are you listening to?", I just let them used the buds. I enjoy seeing their jaws drop. They are impressed by the...- rotorwash

Yuin PK3 Impressions Thread
I find the PK3s, although musical, a bit bass heavy. I've yet to hear the sibilance everyone is talking about... could be my source iphone 3gs (most mp3s > 192kb). My senn mx500 are brighter than the PK3s but have far less bass. I'm listening to them without foams because, to me, they accentuate...- rotorwash

The iPhone 3GS, sound quality and controllability
My favorite setup right now is the iphone with yuin pk3s... I grafted the original iphone remote cable to the pk3's drivers. I like this setup better than using my tried and true ksc75s <-- this says a lot for me.- rotorwash

The iPhone 3GS, sound quality and controllability
After listening to an old school (original ipod 1G 30GB ) for several years, I can say that the DACs are much improved on the Iphone 3GS. I was surprised that I prefer listening to it through my KSC75's vs my Grado SR60s, although, when not in public I use the Shure E5s. I use the Iphone unamped...- rotorwash

E5c's muffled?
I could not get anything to fit but the yellow foamies. Once I got used to them I would not trade them for the world. I was very critical of the E5cs when I first got them... coming from E3s (of all all places). Now, damn, they sound good especially with good EQ. I mostly listen from a PowerBook...- rotorwash

Comply tips with Shure E5?
Is anyone using the Westone comply tips with the Shure E5s? I searched but only saw references to the UM2s. If you are using comply tips with the E5 would you post your experience? I am currently using the yellow foamies on my E5s and like the sound but the comfort suffers a bit. I cannot get a...- rotorwash

earbuds for travel: better than MX500?
The KSC75 is an open headphone, right? How noticeable is the sound leakage? *edit* Also, any local (Southern California) chain stores carry the KSC75?- rotorwash

earbuds for travel: better than MX500?
I will have to check those out. Using my px200s in the gym is kind of a pain. I have been averse to sony cans after owning one of the orignal mdr-v6s. Very heavy bass, plus they fell apart rather quickly. I'll see what folks say around here.- rotorwash
