Received mine on Tuesday. Fit is perfect, as per usual with ACS. Have had them running in since I pulled them out of their box, but initial impressions are very positive, at least relative to my 3 year old ACS Custom Evolve. MUCH better than the Encore I tried previously.

I tried mine with the Snugs Pro custom tips I had made for my IE800 and had a similar result - to much in the way of high frequency suppression, or at least they materially interfere with how I perceive the higher frequencies.

Mine just arrived. It totally escapes my comprehension why Sennheiser can't deal with the issue of such a horribly microphonic cable.........UGH!!!!!!!!

Mine arrived today. Too early on to speak to changes in sound, but I can sadly report that the "new" cable is every bit as short and microphonic as the one on my original IE800. How Sennheiser thinks this is ok is just beyond my comprehension.

Can anyone speculate as to why I've never experienced any such audibly occlusion with my MrSpeaker's Ether C?  They seal just as tightly - maybe even more so....   Very interesting challenge for the planar side of the business.

Just received my pair today, and straight out of the box they very clearly have the same problem in the right ear cup and/or driver that I hear lots of others complaining about.  Crinking sound when I move and a 90% drop out in sound when I turn my head to the right?  Bizarre.  Sad....the weight...

Yep, I have the exact same problem.  Love the sound and kept them hoping that as the pads wore in and my face oil transfered to the velour covering that it would help with the itching.  No such luck.  Damn things itch worse than commercial carpeting on my face.  Really depressing.
