I have had my UE 900 IEMs for about a year now and really like them but the lack of lower-end punch is really just starting to irk me.  I have tried 3 different tips, both the rubber and 2 different set of Comply foam tips.  Even with a good seal, I just don't get much bass extension with these...

It seems to me that there is very little cross-interest from portable headphone users with those who are interested in IEMs.  Is there any particular reason we're forcing people to wade through so much noise to find what they're looking for?   I'm sure that someone who is looking to upgrade...

After reading about Portapros for years I finally had the chance to audition one.   I was supremely disappointed. It is inferior in every possible way to the PX100 and KSC-75.  With those two supremely excellent alternatives, I am not sure how there is even a market for the Portapros...
