New JH Audio flagship! "Siren Series Roxanne"

FYI sounds like JH Audio may be releasing something new (?) in December. Some people were complaining on Facebook about there not being a BF sale this year, and Andrew Regan responded with the below two posts:

    beyer t70 & t70p NEW!

Can anyone comment on the isolation of the T70/T70p in general or compared to the DT 770 pro? I need a set of closed headphones for travel and have tested the DT 770's which I found had very good isolation. However, I prefer a more forward/lively and less boomy sound (my home pair is AKG K701s)...

    Active/Passive speakers, receiver confusion, etc.

JBL 2325P Yamaha HS50m or HS80m Behringer M-Audio   Go to your local Guitar Center with some demo material on a flash drive and try various speakers out. I thought I was getting the 2325Ps until I tried the HS80Ms which blew me away. I'd be interested to know how the HS50Ms compared...

    any experience with KRK Ergo?

Bump. I'm interested in this as well. My Audioengine A2s are unfortunately on my desk and under a shelf, so they are basically enclosed on three sides. This makes things really boomy, and while I can mitigate this through EQ, the problem is certain resonanting frequencies. EQing isn't practical...

Bass resonances with a desk setup

I have Audioengine 2 speakers for my desk and have them sitting on MoPADs, but due to the shelf on top of my desk the speakers are essentially in a cave and there are a lot of resonance nodes in the bass end. Using a sine wave sweep, I have identified the following peaks: 133, 163, 179, 200...

2.0 Setup in a Cramped Space

Just got the MoPADs... I don't know how anyone uses speakers without these or some other form of isolation pad or stand. So much crisper and less boomy. They pretty much solved the resonance problems I was having at louder volumes. I'm going to test them out with the KRKs in a bit.

2.0 Setup in a Cramped Space

I sent back my A5s and got A2s, and I like them a lot better. They sound much more natural and aren't boomy. I think I might keep these for my desktop and portable applications and then buy a pair of active speakers or maybe even a speaker and stereo receiver setup for general listening in...

2.0 Setup in a Cramped Space

Sorry for another thread about a 2.0 setup... I've been researching for several days now and still have some questions. I need some speakers that I can use for my computer and for general use (e.g., parties). My source will be a MHDT Constantine DAC from my computer and an iPod line out for...

Ultimate Ears Triple.fi 10 Earphones for $99 at Amazon!

The last time I tried IEMs, it was difficult to get a good fit, and I just wasn't impressed with the sound quality compared to a non-portable setup (such as the one in my signature). But I'm addicted to slickdeals and couldn't resist such a deal.

Ultimate Ears Triple.fi 10 Earphones for $99 at Amazon!

I bought some to try out. I'm not a big fan of IEMs and didn't like the SuperFi 5s. If I don't like them I'll put them up for sale here...

I've just about had it with optical...

So I replaced the AV710 and it works great now and it doesn't matter how secure the connection is. Looks like the optical output on the AV710 was dying. Is this a common thing where the optical output power decreases over time?
