Hi there; my buddy recently bought an iBasso T4 and after a few days it shorted (or so we assume). First, how does one know that the amp is shorted? Second, is there anybody in Chicago that knows how to fix amps?

It seems like people think both of the aforementioned headphones have a lot of clamping force. Can someone who has had both speak to the comfort of either after a bunch of uses? I have heard the shure loosens up... what about the ultrasone? in terms of sound; the ultrasones are a very "forward"...

I have Free Sound Recorder and have been recording streaming audio but a lot of sites have pretty crappy sound quality which translates into bad mp3s. So my question is this; which site has the best streaming audio sound quality?

I was just down at The audio lab in boston listening to these 2 phones side by side and I know people say the sr80 has the most bass out of the sr line, but I just didn't see it. I first listened out of my zen micro... nothing really spectacular out of either, the differences were negligable IMO...

So I've ripped some scratched cd's and some songs skip, probably b/c of the scratches. My question is, does this mean that the data is lost in that part of the song, or could I use a cd cleaner to buff out the scratches, making it like new?
