A curious query for Dan: what do you imagine turnaround time to be after delivery for the upgrades?  Is it an as-they-come effort, or are you waiting to gather a batch first?

I had a short listening session with Ether C Flow last summer, which prompted me to make the upgrade.  My impression was the same intense level of detail and clarity with a welcome bass extension, nothing too boomy.  I didn't notice any excessive brightness, but my range of test tracks was...

Just dropped my Ether C off at Fedex to get an upgrade to C Flow :) My birthday present to myself! Looking forward to it.

Didn't get an email but I hope they offer upgrades later down the line.  The bass improvement alone is worth it for me on Ether C.  It's the missing ingredient and was fantastic in a brief demo a few weeks back.

My goal was to demo Ether C Flow and I did not come out disappointed.  Bought a pair back at Canjam Socal in March and I'm excited to upgrade to Flow.  The pristine clarity of bass is there with a bonus impact... Dan claimed it to be 3dB and it certainly felt like it.  Some delicious audio...

Hiya, had a great time at Canjam.. only was able to make it Saturday (drove down from West LA), but spent a good long time checking everything out.  I had never heard MrSpeakers new Ether cans before and was impressed enough that I walked off with a pair of Ether C by the end of the show... well...

In the year since I've had a X3, I've had to reset it probably 3 or 4 times, but in all of those cases I was running a beta firmware o:  Even still it was a trivial process.. I have pens with tips thin enough to hit the button.

  It's silly, but it's at least known to be the standard behavior:    It would obviously be preferable to have them appear in the actual playlists section but... eh perhaps their implementation is such a kluge that isn't possible :P

For anyone having playlist issues, I was having a few using the default settings on MusicBee (which will sync playlists with the proper paths to a device)   It was initially copying the paths like:     But, when you include the prefix '\' that annoying makes the playlists not work.  As...

  Multiple responses by Fiio on their recent Facebook posts indicate they are still working on X3 updates and plan to at least bring playlist support to it.  The real question is when :P

I'll set up a nice demo tracklist on a usb tomorrow then, planning to stop by Saturday :D   I'll probably just bring my HD595 to demo with amps and Fiio X3 as a source when there isn't a particular one I want to test :>

I've never heard any of this distortion with high gain, though I've only used it with my HD595 for the most part.

As someone that generally just shuffles everything, I don't usually have any issues.  Plus I don't have to deal with crap/bloatware iTunes ;)   And you sure aren't going to get any iPod with a decent enough amp to barely drive HD800..! :P   Of course, if you're somebody that does often...

My solution is to make playlists using my music player (including 'playlists' of just an artist), and sync them to my Fiio microSD by uploading each playlist to its own folder (i.e. the songs are all together in the folders)   This way, I can use the standard library browse features to find...
