You can use SoX on mac or PC, but it's command line. If you have a mac I would suggest using xACT, as it is not command line. Best of luck, that pre-emphasis DSOTM CD is one of my favorite versions!

Thanks for the info about this mod. However, I ended up not keeping it. Maybe it was just me, but I feel like the sound was a bit more congested and lacked some of the definition that was present prior to modding. I felt that this outweighed the slight reduction in sibilance that I noticed.

I have a Woo WA6 and I was thinking about trying out the LCD-2. How bad of an idea is it to switch to the higher impedence(100-600ohm) setting on the WA6 if the proper impedence setting(1-99ohm) does not supply adequate power. Is this just a really bad idea? Will it provide any additional power...
