Mac "audio midi setup" issue
Everytime I restart my bitrate defaults back to 44hz and am just wondering if anyone can tell me how to keep it set. I'm on 10.8.4 and it's a dragonfly dac for reference. Also just to be clear, but common consensus is still on the recommendation that it be set at 48hz, correct?- unseen

Amarra
Yes they're chained together, but is Amarra still in effect when I have it ticked to "itunes" like this: http://gyazo.com/46e084339303d9a3aa49a8689d4083bb or does amarra have to be lit up blue with the little blue dot on the amarra icon in the dock? Also is there a way to get gapless playback...- unseen

Amarra
I've downloaded this but am not sure I have it configured right. Turning it on and off from the dock icon doesn't seem to change anything. I'm running a mac mini on mountain lion USB'd to a nuforce udac2. Can anyone just tell me what I should have checked?- unseen

AudioQuest Dragonfly Review : Affordable, Outstanding, Tiny DAC / Amp
I hide under a rock away from this place every other year or so for my own sanity so I'm just now discovering this thing. Looking to replace my nuforce udac with one. I use the nuforce for iems as well as mini to rca'ing to my audioengine a5's but as the dragonfly only has one input, would I...- unseen

er4p: best iem unamped/<$200?
new to iems. always been against them but just don't find music enjoyable on the move with the outside noise. have an ipod touch 3g on the way and am ready to do give them a whirl. sort've tough working through all the ie8/530/um3 and triple fi 10 talk as of late. re0's and ie7's were considered...- unseen

sansa c250 -> car help
can you vouch for one of those? considering how cheap the c250's are going for these days the pricetag on that thing is pretty surprising. if you know of another dap that's compatible with a more proven transmitter outside of an ipod i'd be willing to spend on it.- unseen

sansa c250 -> car help
i'd like to have a sansa c250 in the car for stereo listening but can't seem to find exactly what i need. my stereo doesn't have a casette player so isn't the only other option through the cig lighter jack? if so, can anyone point me in the right direction? i'm looking for one that also charges...- unseen

anyone have a spare 1/4 to 1/8 adapter?
just to clarify, i did not create this thread looking for handouts. i was prepared to pay and did say that, though i also know these nondescript ones you'd pick up at a radioshack aren't more than a few bucks. all in all, it's a potential "WTB" i don't think many would bother with which is why i...- unseen

anyone have a spare 1/4 to 1/8 adapter?
what a nice board. thank you guys i did forget to mention though that i am in canada. port colborne to be exact, no radioshacks believe it or not. yash - if that's not an issue, i'd love to take you up on the offer. bc - how much do your customs run and what is done exactly? i wasn't...- unseen

anyone have a spare 1/4 to 1/8 adapter?
i realize there's a forum for this but i'm a bit impatient. i got a pair of sr225's not realizing i needed an adapter as i'd only used ms1's prior. i'd prefer the grado adapter but i'm not picky. a brandless cheapie works. i'm in a rural area right now and don't believe there's a store around...- unseen

portapros sat on and shattered

getting more volume out of my laptop
money isn't an object, it's simplicity. i don't want a usb anything plugged in when i'm tightly squeezed in the corner of an airplane. distortion also isn't a concern as this is strictly for tv/movies. wouldn't be that noticeable.- unseen

getting more volume out of my laptop
without an amp? i do a fair bit of travelling. use portapros through my laptop on the plane not for music but movies and such, will most likely switch portas to hd25s soon but i imagine i'll have the same problem. just not enough volume through the headphone jack. i'm hoping for an easy fix...- unseen

in canada, in need of a grado 1/4 to 1/8 adapter
already have but figure it's one of those items that people aren't exactly looking to sell. buy one, have it if you need it sort of deal. no other stores are online or am i forced to give ttvj $20 to ship something that actually costs under $2.- unseen
