Everytime I restart my bitrate defaults back to 44hz and am just wondering if anyone can tell me how to keep it set. I'm on 10.8.4 and it's a dragonfly dac for reference.
 
Also just to be clear, but common consensus is still on the recommendation that it be set at 48hz, correct?

what player are you using? ie. audirvana,etc.

44.1 khz will do just fine ; I'd say try not to upsample 44.1 khz to 48

Can anyone tell me why it defaults to 96hz after a restart? On OSX mavericks
