Little dot Mk IV SE not really good, bass gets too loose.

Doublecheck for hair, one small piece of hair can do that.

Compared to X2 560 bass is very fast, articulate and textured and it has very good extension into subbass. X2 has more midbass presence that can be nice but is far from quality of 560. 560 responds very well to eq and u can boost that region to give them more punch.

Nothing special actually. RCA 6AS7G but with adapter and extension to connect external power supply for heaters.

He, he i hear u. It's amazing how much tension this X2 phone brings. Dont really get it why people cant accept other people's taste's. If someone like Tyll who is i guess is respected and has all the experience in the world about headphones and asocieted gear likes it, and few other people...

I plugged it in just for you. Gain setting is at +6 and it's louder then my HE 560 so it has more then enogh power to drive it. I also own MK IV SE but would need to do some A/B to really tell u which sounds better to me but i think Little Dot would win.

I owned HD 600 for few years, bought X2 and sold HD 600.

I also enjoy them more on my tube amp.

Sounds like HD 600 to me. If u use HD 650 your mix would probably have to much treble. I never listened to K702 but i know profesionals love them because of treble clarity, mastering with them will never produce hot mix. I know my favorite artist Arjen Lucassen use them and his stuff sounds perfect.

Today i plugged X2's into my new Gustard H10 and holy crap this combo sounds amazing. It destroyed all my other amps. It's especially good with EDM very strong but tight and detailed bass and decet sparkle up top. I think i like X2 more then HE 560 for EDM now.
