Yeah, OK, people on this boards have very strong and fixed opinions. Except when they like a player then they never liked it. Or when the new firmware is worse then it's better. Regarding the SOC, you are confusing the word size with data structures size. The SOC might be working on 64 bits...

No, it's not. Android will always have more stuff going on, it's a mobile OS, not a DAP OS. However, you can switch off WiFi, Bluetooth, location, background processes etc, while still being able to use your favourite player.

An update on the charging issue: - I have tested it with a QC 3.0 charger and can confirm it charges fairly rapidly even when playing music (IEMs, 16 bit flac, screen off) - it seems to have problems with PD, unfortunately. Maybe ibasso can fix that in a future firmware - it will discharge...

Android is also Linux. Just saying...

There is more jitter in Android, particularly if you are multitasking.
