Has anyone tried Beautiful audio's cable adapter LINK Thinking about trying it out one of my pairs as the construction is pretty clever (no melting glues with hairdryers and such).

The hemps are made out of a composite of Hemp and maple wood, the largest part casing the drivers are also pure maple and not the composite. You're right about there being a difference but they are in fact still wood cups.

Although i got these for $160, I would be happy with these if i paid $300. The only complaint being the cable. Great all-arounders in my opinion.

How far away from the driver does these pads put you compared to stocks?

Well, the hemps sure are fun! Seen some different opinions about pad choices, bought some Geekria large (model number EJZ-0047-04). But these requires me to bend the headband in quite a bit, anyone here tried this combo? As im satisfied with the stock ones, they will have to do for the time...

These have got plenty of bass, perhaps everyone whos trying to comparing it to the x2's feel that they're lacking. Comparing price and sound to the x2 feels pointless as they are a completely different product that Philips is trying to take in a different direction. Wonder if they would have...

Powering these with x7s through XLR, enough power for sure. These headphones has got some great detail and separation, Jazz and strings etc sounds fantastic. These headphones really needs some juice for them to show there full potential, crazy difference in lows when they get that extra power...

So I got the XBA-N3's, daily drivers not much to complain about. Got one issue though, the connectors are losing their grip and both earplugs comes off easily. Really annoying and will probably result in me losing them. Not sure what end is losening up, anyone had this problem? Never done...

Might have been a dac driver issue as PCM was forced to 48khz, now att 44 as standard again when gaming and multitasking.

Increased Asio buffer size to maximum on the korg control panel, will see if this helps. Thanks

Since its a dac+amp combo both the headphones and the speakers have the distorted sound. Just got it twice tonight by stress testing gaming, music and voice at once. The CPU is at normal temps but does spike close to 100 sometimes. Temp on comp is normal overall.

This only started happening when i upgraded my setup and added the dac & speakers. My ram is not a problem for sure, when gaming my cpu does go up to 85% (picture attached) not sure if that would be a problem. It does seem to happen when using a lot of different applications for audio at once...
