Yeah, just get the amperiors, you don't even need an amp for them. These things are really awesome all across the frequency range and don't get strident UNLESS you turn up the volume way too much. For reference, I listen to them just a little above "half the volume" in my iPhone 5.

I've had no confort issues with Amperiors. Actually I've slept with them about two times, no problem :D    But if you live in a quiet place, and isolation is not required, then perhaps it would be worth trading them for HD600.

Getting a propper seal on the X10's is fundamental, as with most IEMs.   I've found the better tips for me are the medium standard ones, double flanged are more secure but tend to cause sibilance.
