Sorry guys I was able to talk my wife into upgrading to the A12 after the kick starter ended. I did drive to 1964 ears again yesterday and we listened to the A6 tho they did not have an A10 on hand to try.

We have done that twice when putting in our orders and get ear impressions and considered doing it for the pickup but are real busy these few weeks!

Yup switching from an 8.A to the A12 does give an impression of brightness comparatively so but not souch in absolute terms. My A12 shipped today, delivery expected for tomorrow! I win wifey, mine finished first. Hers likely a day or 2 later haha ;)

They are going to look at an upgrade plan (if possible) after the new ones launch, They have a full plate just switching to ADEL right now. The prices will not be the same (higher).

It would be interesting for some to hear some more details about your inconsistent experience. Is it for example from song to song or from listening session to listening session or does it change as you move around?    These answers might help you determine if it is a fit issue or some short...

      I would agree with Ivabign! I would say that the 8.A has a more immersive wide soundstage, sort of like a warm heavy blanket in the cold winter. The V8 is like big fireworks in the summer ... they explode in a good way, very precise imaging, where the 8.A wants you to feel where the...
