Review of Audio Technica ATH-IM01, ATH-IM02, ATH-IM03, ATH-IM04, ATH-IM50, & ATH-IM70
That's helpful, because I think my laptop and my Nexus 7 have about 100 ohms of output impedance, I was thinking an E6 with it's <1 ohms of output impedance would solve my problem, seeing as OP recommend using low output impedance players with the ATH IM02.- skyflux

Review of Audio Technica ATH-IM01, ATH-IM02, ATH-IM03, ATH-IM04, ATH-IM50, & ATH-IM70
Hey guys, I recently bought a ATH-IM02, and I'm really impressed by it's sound quality, however I realized that the IEM pretty much only sounds good on mobile phones.. I have tried it on my laptop, Nexus 7 2012, PC, and a audio interface rated 32 ohms and it sounded very weak on them. I...- skyflux

Comfy tips for a Shure SE215?
Hi guys, I'm looking for comfortable tips with good isolation for the SE215, it MUST be silicon, since I have been using Olive and they just get dirty too easily. I was looking at the Klipsch oval tips, but have no idea whether or not it will fit. Also, does anyone have any idea on...- skyflux

Ultimate ears Super.Fi. 5 vs JVC Review and Comparison
I have something to say about it's build quality though , it's just me though. The 3.5mm plug kinda screwed up on mine , and as a result the left side doesn't play anything Great sound though. Well , have been waiting for more than 2 weeks for a replacement unit..- skyflux

Why are audio stuff so expensive?
Hmm it's starting to become clear to be , why IEMs are so expensive. I guess this applies to many of those luxurious brands out there in the market. But I still don't understand why hardware synths or guitar amplifiers must be that expensive!! Surely those stuffs are more sought after by the...- skyflux

Why are audio stuff so expensive?
Thanks for the replies guys , really helped cleared things up for me. But thinking about it , if the production cost of a higher end earphone is like 1/10 of the selling price.. Woah think about the profits they are making!!- skyflux

Why are audio stuff so expensive?
Firstly , I'm not here to say things like "They sound the same" , or "Just use the iBuds" or "my Skullcandies are better". I know the difference between a triple driver and the iBuds , I understand why people would go to such lengths to enjoy their music , but one thing I don't understand is ...- skyflux

The Audio Technica M50 studio monitor thread
Quote: I just heard the TripleFI , UM3X , CK100 , Westone 3 and IE8. IMO the TripleFi and the Westone 3 had a sound signature that was very similar to the M50 , but the TripleFi seemed to sound better than the Westone 3 , in fact it sounded better than the M50. Well , that's just my...- skyflux

Jaben Fear...
Well I have been to Jaben once just to get complys , and I was kinda surprised by how small the shop was.. (the Singapore one). I have imagined it to be bigger , since my friend said it was 'classroom sized'. Anyway , if anyone doesn't like Jaben they can always check out Stereo...- skyflux

My very first headphones... ATH-M50 vs HD25 vs HDJ-2000?
I haven't heard the 25's before but I do own the M50s , am well I'm pretty pleased with it :D It has a pretty balanced sound , but sometimes I feel that the bass tends to be stronger , and the mid is abit recessed. Otherwise they sound pretty good , controlled bass , detailed mids and...- skyflux
