i've got a similar setup with hd600 and dca aeon 2 open as my main headphones on this rig.. sourced from a bifrost2, i find that I need to EQ the bass down a bit on the a2o, but the the hd600's are good as is since this is headfi.. i'm tempted to try out an OTL amp at some point to see how diff...

are you able to try connecting to your mojo using coax or optical? depending on your mac model, it may have a dual functioning headphone & (mini?) toslink jack for optical out sounds like a usb port issue that i’ve seen others report in this thread, and those have been resolved/repaired by chord

i can’t tell if the cups were replaced as i can’t visually tell if these are new or original.. but the pads definitely feel firmer than they were before the repairs as i’ve had these for about 1.5years

my repaired A2O arrived today, they mentioned that the imbalance was repaired and it feels like newer (firmer) pads were installed.. will see if the occasional imbalance issue ever comes back again mine doesn’t seem to sound any different than before so my issue may have just been imbalance

i had a similar issue on my A2O from May 2020.. i reached put to dca and they immediately provided RMA number for me to start the repairs process.. my A2O is currently in their hands now so i will post an update when i hear from DCA on the issue

I think my issue may be the left driver and/or the connector.. as swapping L/R cables or using new Hart cables always resulted in the left driver having volume problems. I've also had the left driver's volume go from 100% ->20% -> 100% within minutes while music is playing. I've contacted DCA...

my A2O had the same left driver with lower volume issue and for me it's the stock cable, because when i swap the L/R cables the right driver becomes lower in volume unplugging and plugging in the L cable occasionally fixes it.. i've ordered a set of Hart audio cables as I wanted a shorter run...
