Spark & Fuze  

Still digging my CKM50s but I am giving a little more love to my id America Sparks at the moment. I find the sound signatures are very close but I just hate the cable on the ATs. Why couldn't they just rig a normal cable? That alone prevented me from buying another pair.

Actually, the Panys are good but not that good. There are better options available that I like more in that price range. For the $70 I paid for them on J&R blowout, they were just dandy.

I think they're over two bills now and for that price I'd rather shell out a bit more and get a pair of Westones.

I've been wondering if it's even worth the $$$ to have someone look at my HJE-900s and get the one shell working again. I really loved those earphones and used them exclusively for over a year.

The bass produced by the Sparks are just as good as the ATH-CKM series and you can get them well under $60.

I loved my Panasonics but one side died on me :-(

I found with the CKM50s that I didn't have to wedge them in or fiddle with them to get a great sound. The disc design helps in that respect. I put the medium tips on them as well.

Using these exclusively now for commuting both ways and in the office with my iBasso DAC. Being made of aluminum they are extremely lightweight and they really do sound very well. They handle the bass as well as the ATs and I am just enamored by the sound they produce. I am going to order...
