The RE0 are a good choice and if you don't mind used IEM's the for sale forum has some pretty good deals on products that are normally outside your price range.- SouLazee

Searching for some advice
Yeah pretty sure the sari0n is correct with the term panning. I can also confirm that most Cowon players can do it, although I've heard some of their newer models do not go completely in one direction. So, if it is an absolute must, some of the older Cowon models are pretty good; or, as...- SouLazee

Which compact camera should I get? LX5 vs. XZ-1
I'd also recommend something along the lines of what MadCow said, a micro 4/3/Nex camera with a pancake lens. It would also give you more options, as you can change lenses to suit your needs and adapt older, usually cheap, legacy lens onto your system. If you have the money, should also check...- SouLazee

Do I "need" a headphone amp if I use In ear monitors most of the time?
I mainly use IEM's and with the addition of an amp, does not drastically change the way it sounds, it is more of a subtle addition of warmth/detail/etc. So, I don't think you're missing out too much by not using an amp. On the other hand, if you want to give amps a try, you might want to give...- SouLazee

Replaced plug on the Ortofon EQ7
In hindsight, I probably should've emailed ortofon again. But I assumed the warranty was void, as it was bought used, so no proof of purchase and passed the 1 year warranty mark.- SouLazee

Leica D-Lux 5 & Lumix DMC-LX5 (TAVES Toronto Audio show - Nov.01, 2013 - Photos)
Was checking out the other thread on the LX5 and isn't the D-Lux 5 essentially the same camera, but rebranded by Leica?- SouLazee

Don't want to hijack the thread, but would the Clip+ be good for camping? Currently have the Cowon D2, but want something less bulky to take on trips, preferably something that could fit into a Nalgene bottle for safe storage.- SouLazee

Replaced plug on the Ortofon EQ7
So, a while ago, noticed that my EQ 7's had stopped producing sound on one side of the earbuds. Seeing as I bought it used off another head-fier from a different country, decided to try my luck and fix it myself. Luckily, my friend taking engineering lent a hand and guided me through the...- SouLazee
