I have the DHC 8-wire silver symbote for my CIEMs and absolutely love it. It is a huge upgrade over any other IEM cable. I've been going back and forth on the Prion4 because the 8' length cable is so expensive. I am waiting for a 16-wire solid core silver cable from ELA Audio which is only a fraction of the cost of a DHC cable. I'm interested to see if it bests my custom 16-wire copper OCC litz cable and hoping it eases my desire for a Prion4. The ELA cable won't be nearly as elegant aesthetically as the Prion4, but if the sound is good, it will be a huge bargain.

Where are they selling 16 core? Their eBay site seems to only have 8 core cables.

Looking at the DHC, Lavri and Toxic specs, they all look much the same with much the same spec, yet their prices are considerably different, with Lavri cables appearing to be relatively great value for money.
I guess the devil must be in the detail to explain the price differences.

I think the devil might be in the margins :) !

I've bought cables from Lavricables in Latvia on three occasions. The orders were completed in a few days and shipping was fast. I'm in Canada and it took a total of 10 days for turn around from order date. My Lavricables sound better to me than either Dragons or some Audioquest products that I have.

I compared the Lavricables to the Cardas Clear and DHC Complement4. IMHO the Lavricables were massively better.

My knowledge and taste tells me that with cables it's about synergy more than anything else. The first one you mentioned is silver whereas the following products (to my knowledge) are copper. These are two greatly different materials and having said that, decent silver cable can easily best great copper one if cans used benefit from it. It all depends, in the audio game no such thing as one size that fits 'em all exist :).

I thought about buying the Trilogy 933 last year but was a bit concerned by the specs. 250mW into 60 ohms? And they're claiming it can drive the HE-6? Am I missing something?
that must be a mistake...

800mW into 300 Ohms
250mW into 60 Ohms

Got to test these against the Susvara's and LCD-4's yesterday and I have to say overall the HE1000 took the cake but the LCD-4's were closest and both bested the Susvara's IMO
