Turns out the pair of d2ks I bought with d7k cups are dynamatted. Seller never mentioned it. I wonder if he even knew what he had... They also included j$ pads. My impressions of them compared to stock is that while they are stiffer (initially, idk if they soften over time) they are better...

Thanks for the replies. I think my used pair actually came with d5000 cables. I can see some cotton/paper showing through the outter nylon braid in a few spots.

Are these considered the best sub $400 monitor?  I saw the emotiva website has them going for $250 right now.  I was considering the audioengine A5+ at first, but came upon these.  I am looking to use them as speakers for my desktop computer.
