The Grado RS-2 Thread
I’ll kick this thread back into life. I purchased a pair of rs2 about 3 years ago from ebay for just under £300, now when they turned up the previous owner was a heavy cigar smoker and they reaked. the seller actually gave me £100 back too replace the leather strap and cups, they still stank as...- ta4101

any life left in those vintage cans?
Just took a trip over to Spain to visit my dad who's a massive audio-file buff I took my Grado sr325i over to try them out with his linn sondek lp12 turntable. They sounded great and my dad went off to get his cans now strangely enough I'd never even seen him use a set of headphones in my 42...- ta4101

Sennheiser HD 515
I have a pair of 515's and love them, I've always been a Grado fan with the sr325i being my mainstay but I just struggle with prolonged use so I thought I'd try an entry level pair of Senns to see if I was missing anything. I found them quite cheap in the sales last week and I can't fault them...- ta4101

Is this amp a good match for Grado's?
Not tried the mf amp but I can tell you i'm so pleased with my grado 325i and a Xenos 1HA-EPC combo for portability. The xenos has a slightly mellow sound with a deep bass that really compliments the 325's brightness it tames the beasts a little too. I still think that to chose the right amp...- ta4101

iBasso T1
I got my T1 last week and I was using it with a standard apple dock,I run the amp for 2 days to let it burn in a bit. Please forgive my use of terms on here but I'm not a headphone connoisseur (yet ) I first tried my Grado sr325i and to be honest I felt the sound was a bit harsh and it...- ta4101

Rega ear or Music fidelity x-cans for grado 325i
Thanks a lot for the help guys looks like I'll be saving up a few more pennies I love my 325i's but I do agree they need taming a bit, the detail is aweinspiring but they are a tiring headphone and I hope with the right amp I will get even more pleasure off them. Watch this space- ta4101

The Official Grado 325i Owners Club.
325i number 4573 reporting for duty Awesome cans started on the 60's moved to the 80's and skipped everything in between. I have owned the 325i for 2 months and the only downside is I have had to put every cd back on my 60g ipod at a higher rate. a few albums have had to go on as a wav...- ta4101

Rega ear or Music fidelity x-cans for grado 325i
I'm pondering between these 2 classics because they both fit in my budget and are readily available in the UK. Anyone with any experience with these two? I have heard the Rega is very good with Grado's but I have always been somewhat drawn to the often quirky music fidelity equipment...- ta4101

portable amp for grado 325i
Don't know if anyone has any suggestions, I mainly listen through my ipod 60g all files lossless. I like to listen to some modern jass and love ambient stuff ie faithless, massive attack, Peter gabriel. I have a budget of around $250 (£130) Would prefer a portable as I do a few train...- ta4101

amp suggestion for grado 325i & 60g ipod
Hi I'm a newbee here and after having my first child a few years ago I had to switch to cans. I've just purchased a pair of Grado 325i (upgraded from sr80's) and these have now started to show the short comings of my ipods output. I have tried my ipod through an old cambridge amp and it seemed...- ta4101
