    Meelectronics M6 Appreciation Thread

Just got a pair of these to replace my Soundmagic PL30 that I lost, needed something for early work mornings and on the go. First listen the bass was too overpowering. As I've gotten used to them and they've had time to burn-in, the bass has calmed down. They sound great for the price, and I'd...

    3 presets on Fiio E5?

I've got this too. It seems like its halfway switching to bass boost and still muddies up the sound a little bit. Personally, the bass-boost off option sounds best to me.

London Audio - Has anyone heard of these speakers?

Sennheiser CX 300 IEM (a personal review)

Well, I think it might be time to upgrade my budget IEMs since the new college semester is about to start. So, would these be a decent step up from the Panny HJE-50? Mostly rock and metal, and the HJE-50 seems to do decently, but lacks soundstage and oomph. Oh, and while were at it, can the...

Bang for your buck bookshelf speakers

The Onix X-LS over at AV123 for $199 a pair are an excellent value. I'd also suggest the Ascend 340's ($568) and the Paradigm Titans (can be had for $199 if you shop around).

That, my friend, is why God invented Freschetta.

    I'm a basshead

AV123 has a speaker coming later this year called the Onix X-PLS. It's basically an MTM (two midbasses and a tweeter) speaker with a sub and a passive radiator built into the lower part of the speaker. MLS has been saying that the tower itself will produce enough bass without really needing a...

$23 speakers at Best Buy that measure well and sound good

I'm very curious how well the floorstanding models perform. The 5-speaker package looks good, but I'm curious how they'd stand up to a set of Onix XL-S...

    Favorite Metal Drummer

While I dont like the band he's in, Joey Jordison was born to wield drumsticks. If you've ever seen some clips of him doing live solos, you'll be a believer.

MP3 Users, please tell my why you use it over lossless?

-Limited HDD space & -In my own comparisons, 192kb LAME MP3s are almost exactly like the original CD. I say almost because, in some situations, I can hear a small difference, but not enough to justify the space and time.
