Hugo TT 2 by Chord Electronics - The Official Thread
So when are they gonna lower the price to reasonable price so people actually purchase the thing? Why $1000 price increase over the original TT is? I doubt many would buy this price being so high- SearchOfSub

Why is Hugo TT2 priced $1000 more than the original Hugo TT? Aren't you guys richer now so it should be easier to produce in bigger volume and used to the technology so it should cut costs why more expensive?- SearchOfSub

I think Chord is the best solid state sound you can have. There is always a sense of musicality, refinement, and analog in nature in all of their models including the Mojo! Tab length was only worth reading because the DAC sounded good when I played it. I used to just take it with a grain of...- SearchOfSub

Rob Ican you do all a favor and cut the price down on the TT2? I wonder why TT2 costs $1000 more retail than TT1 when it was retail new.- SearchOfSub

Chord Electronics - Blu Mk. 2 - The Official Thread
It isn't much of bickering. It's comparing 1st version to 2nd version's pricing and there isn't much of explanation to the price increase. Mojo isn't 99.9% percent of what people need either. I rather enjoyed Audioquest Dragonfly Red more than Mojo. It sounded just as good to me at fraction of...- SearchOfSub

IMO original Hugo priced at 2K was pretty fair compared to all of the DACS out at the time hence people were calling it the "giant-killer!" But now I see Hugo2 price have gone up $500USD, the Hugo TT2 which I was planning to purchase this year have also gone up $1000USD from the first model...- SearchOfSub

That would be nice. Rob Watts design active speakers + Chord Hugo Mscaler. I already see many people will be going down this path!- SearchOfSub

I just read some posts after I posted and few people mentioned it would be good device to have for active speakers. I agree and I think with the pricing this might be better than the Hugo TT2. Can anyone recommend any good active speakers to pair up?- SearchOfSub

I get the Blu ll since it plays CD but what is the point of Hugo Mscaler in front of a Chord DAC? Isnt it double DAC? What are the benefits and difference from a traditional DAC?- SearchOfSub

Hugo TT 2 by Chord Electronics - The Official Thread
Why? That make no sense because the original Hugo TT went retail for $4,500 I think back when it was released. Considering Hugo 2 is $2000 is the Hugo TT2 have triple 3x amount of taps, triple amount of filtering, triple amount of power etc? Make no sense for Chord to price it so high when they...- SearchOfSub
