    Sony NW-ZX300

I spotted it in the wild! The balanced 4.4 and the design is similar to the 1a, but with a zx100 body, only black and long.

I really dig it's matte screen. Fingerprint free!!!! Hope we can see the 1A/1Z get an update for the USB DAC feature. I'm definitely sold on the zx300!

    SONY NW-WM1Z / WM1A

Yes James! I have tried them and it works! Only downside is that it does not screw onto the Elears. You can feel and hear the 3.5mm connector sit into the Elears though. I have a spare B20SB1 sealed if you are unable to find any!

Echineko (Is that...like a funky cat?) I don't have a link for it so sorry!! Hydesg, I just tried it at the sony store with their 1a and the xba-a3, I cannot go beyond 90 without my ears getting too uncomfortable with how loud it gets. I was playing Norah Jones' I turned your picture to the wall.

I am aware that all dap falls under their personal audio category. Hope this helps our fellow mates take the leap! The documentation is from a Sony Centre in Singapore.

I live in Singapore, is there anyway I can help the good people here get the Walkmans sold in singapore, shipped to your countries? From my knowledge, it's all uncapped and certain countries fall within the limited manufacturer's warranty for Sony's walkman.

    Sony PHA-1 Review and Impressions

Apparently it works with a galaxy S3 via otg cable (and into a microusb- male usb) straight into the digital input (micro usb, supposedly for PCs). I am trying this with the MDR-1R, gonna take some time to listen to the differences with and without.

    Sony has new headphones, MDR-1R

For those who are visiting Singapore, our prices for the MDR-1R is $398.00. Just received stocks for them, all sealed up. =( A first i have seen in Singapore.

    Sony has new headphones, MDR-1R

I share the same sentiments. Every time they announce something new, i get all hyped up, only to be let down again and again, but i tell myself, its okay, lets see how they improve, but there's only so many times one can give chances.  I hope to see them come back with the energy and...

    Sony has new headphones, MDR-1R

Glad you managed to get more play time with the 1R a_recording ^^ I feel relived somehow, i was afraid my impressions of the 1R being slightly better than the Z1000 is just "me" being exposed to new toys. Glad to see someone else having similar thoughts on the 1R, great write up there...

    Sony has new headphones, MDR-1R

Hi M13,  I appreciate your feedback : ) To address your question on the 1R and Z1000, i personally feel that that the 1R gives me the "singing right infront of you" feel, i also listened to a track of teresa teng's 'He ri jun zai lai' which i could clearly hear her lips. ( I hope i make...

    Sony has new headphones, MDR-1R

I really hope it can stand out among the rest. But i'm not gonna get my hopes too high. I would love to hear the other makers as well and compare them, but its near impossible for me to do so, in Singapore, the culture here makes it difficult for me to go into a store, try out the different...

    Sony has new headphones, MDR-1R

I have no clue how much the xb900 will be priced here in singapore, but i sure am interested to get one! Hmmmm, the question of balance huh? Well, i would really need to listen to them again to do them justice. But i like the Z1000's for its honest, flat, clean(i'm out of vocab here) sound...
