The Audiophile Bass Lounge (Basshead club part II)
Thanks for the feedback so far. Sweating into over the ear phones doesn't sound like a good idea, so I probably want to stick with IEMs. What do you guys think about the Velodyne Vpulse?- nipponbiki

I think IEM, but has to have a good fit. I hate it when they slowly slip out from each step on a treadmill or each rotation on an elliptical or whatever and lose the seal.- nipponbiki

The Audiophile Bass Lounge (Basshead club part II)
Hey guys, Just wanted to ask for a recommendation. I currently have the setup listed in my signature, which is my main environment I use to listen to music all day while working or messing around on my computer (work at home). But, I wanted a recommendation for something around 50...- nipponbiki

Slightly off-topic, but I would rather ask the lot here. I need something cheap, like 20-50 dollars, just for when I go to the gym to workout. It has to be a dynamic driver, I ruined my pair of E5Cs from sweating and long bouts of cardio. Any recommendations?- nipponbiki

Regarding pads, I went with Beyer velor pads only because they were available on Amazon. In my case, the drivers still rested on my ear causing physical discomfort on my left ear, so even after the pad change, I had to stuff some tissue in there to give me a little more room. If there were...- nipponbiki

Fellow dubstepper here. Definitely get these. Though you need a proper setup which is more than just the phones themselves, these should be your last pair of phones for this kind of music.- nipponbiki

For now. Like I said, I think I would like a thicker pad that gives just 2 or 3 mm distance between ear and driver, but I don't know if such a pad exists. Also, I don't want to keep switching pads for testing purposes. This is sounding pretty sweet right now and without fatigue. Huge bass...- nipponbiki

Oh yes. Chariots of Fire Theme (Vangelis) just came on, and even that song has a nice deep hit that sounds sooooo good on this setup. No fatigue by the way today.- nipponbiki
