i only have a pair of K2 Apache Blackhawks... so far they've handled everything i've done decently... but some tmes i wish i had a stiffer ski... i've lost edge grip on really hard stuff a couple of times... what about boots? i bought a couple of Salomon xwave 8 this year, and i loved...

ubuntu is based on gnome, which in my experience has always been a bit unresponsive and slow... KDE is, again in my experience, much faster...

iirc, Mint is based in ubuntu, so if you had problems with ubuntu, mint won¡t work either
