Anyone here have multiple pairs of skis that they use (not the old ones that have been in the garage for 2 years)?

This is what I got:

Volkl Racetiger SL WC 165 w/Marker WC Piston Plate & Marker M14
Volkl Mt Dew EnergY 320 w/Marker LT Plates & LT1000 (Sponsor ski)
Volkl Racetiger GS WC 187 w/Marker WC Piston Plate + Extention Arm & Marker M16
Volkl P70 SL 156 w/Marker Comp 10 Piston Control
Volkl Unlimited AC3 163 w/Marker iPT 11
Rossignol RX5 180 w/Marker Super 7 (XC Ski)

A few more may come my way before the season starts, an all mountain ski atleast.

Boots:
Tecnica Diablo Race Pro 100 '08
Salomon Performance 60 '06

Poles:
Leki Viper Venom SL Alu/Carbon '07
Leki Viper Venom GS Alu/Carbon '06

I might be a novice audiophile so I haven't posted before, but this is a very welcome topic!

Primary-
Salomon '04 Ten-Eighties 171 Great twin-tip all-mountain ski

When i'm in the mood for the deep pow or the rails-
Salomon '02 pocket Rockets not sure on length
Line '03 Mothership 172

All on Salomon S912 Ti bindings

I mainly hit up the terrain park, and back country!

i only have a pair of K2 Apache Blackhawks... so far they've handled everything i've done decently... but some tmes i wish i had a stiffer ski... i've lost edge grip on really hard stuff a couple of times...

what about boots?

i bought a couple of Salomon xwave 8 this year, and i loved them... an awesome upgrade from my previous performa 7.5 (which were also too big... i guess it happens when you buy your first pair without really knowing what you are doing...)

I have cross country skis:

Diegelmann Sprinters and a pair of Jarvinen's I bought for the binding and boots [hard to find cross country boots that fit here in the midwest]. The Salomon bindings are going from the Jarvinen's to the Diegelmann's. Then wait for snow...yeah, right.

i have 2 snowboards and would like a third, if i was still skiing i would have more than one pair. for me varying condidtions and terrain call for different gear choice.

hmmmm....ahhhh, NO!

No matter where I go, 95% of all snowboarders:
a) Ruin the pack on a trail specifically maintained for racers
b) Take the whole f**kin trail to carve
c) Go on trails closed for training and cause accidents because they think that they are cool and are good enought to go in
d) Do not pay attention to their surroundings, and dont care about them

I wouldnt have a problem if the above only happend on rare occasion, but almost EVERY boarder does one of the above four.

Ski/Snowboard is just slightly more interesting than PC/Mac.

For the record I don't ski I snowboard and Have a couple of Vokl rentiger
decks in the hall closet. Was a snowboard bum for about a decade and have skied an boarded with the full spectrum of mountain riders all have their own style. Just have fun doing it.

Take a stick with sidecut and strap it onto your feet go down hill repeat as necessary.

I forgot to note that my statements about boarding only apply to people on the East coast, West coast Boarders are actually good, and stay in the park most of the time.
